And finally she was drained from the insecure financial quandary into which he had placed his family because of his abusive drinking behavior.</p>
<p><strong>When Hazardous and Excessive Drinking Motivates a Person to do Something Positive About a Person’s Problem Drinking</strong></p>
<p>One Saturday morning when Emily was pondering what she could do about her husband’s unhealthy and excessive drinking, she got to the point that she honestly had to do something constructive to cut into the harmful cycle of Barry’s unhealthy and excessive drinking behavior.</p>

<p> First, you must decide whether the relationship is worth saving. Whilst  pretty much every relationship can be saved with tough work, both parties must decide that they need to make it work. Because if a partner has opted out and does not wish to decide back in, there&#8217;s little that may be done.</p>

<p> Good communication is essential. If you are unwilling to share your feelings honestly, then you can not expect to make any progress.</p>
<p> It may be difficult to accept it, but all relationships require a lot of hard work.  So be ready for it. If something nasty has happened because of you offer an apology and make the necessary changes.  It your partner is to blame, be gracious enough to forgive. Once done, do not revisit the past issues.</p>
<p> While in a relationship you cannot forget your manners. Being kind and generous and this way you can show your true concern and love for each other.  Accommodate each other in to your lives.</p>
<p> Give each other time and space.  So you can work through the issues in your own way within the relationship. If your spouse has not time to deal with personal problems, you deal with them. Try not to confuse yourself and forget the previous problems. This can make it worse, rather than saving your relationship.</p>
